ONGC Q3 Results are out now. ONGC’s Net Profit Decline Y-o-Y by 6.9% to 9784 Crore in Q3 FY’25 as against 10,511 Crore in Q3 FY’24. ONGC Revenue From Operation Decline Y-o-Y by almost 0.8% to 1,66,097 Crore in Q3 FY’25 as against 1,67,357 Crore in Q3 FY’24.
ONGC Board has approved a 2nd interim dividend of 100%, i.e. ₹5.00 on each equity share of ₹5.00 The total payout on this account will be ₹ 6,290 Crore. The Record date for the distribution of dividends has been fixed for 7th February 2025. This is in addition to 1st interim dividend of ₹ 6.00 per share(120%) declared earlier in Nov 2024.
ONGC signed a MoU with PowerGrid Corporation on 12th December 2024 in New Delhi to collaborate on green hydrogen and clean energy projects. The collaboration aligns with the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) program which aims to position India as a global leader in green hydrogen production, use, and export.

ONGC and GAIL signed a term sheet on 28 November 2024 for the sale of new well gas (NWG) from ONGC’s nominated fields, establishing a strategic framework for the future growth of ONGC.
ONGC has been focusing on increasing its domestic oil and gas production to meet India’s growing energy demand. The company continues to explore new reserves, particularly in deepwater and unconventional gas fields, including the Krishna-Godavari Basin.
